DataCentral welcomes contributions from people with direct knowledge of the sector.
We are interested in informed, well-grounded pieces from operators, engineers, consultants, contractors, analysts, specialist suppliers, and others working across the data centre market in the UK and Europe. That might be a comment piece, a technical explainer, a market view, a case-led article, or a response to a live issue. What matters is that it says something specific and useful.
The strongest contributions tend to start with a clear point. A constraint that is being underestimated. A technical shift with wider consequences. A policy change that will affect delivery. A market trend that looks different from inside the sector than it does from the outside. We are far more interested in detail, evidence, and experience than in broad opinion.
We cover power and energy, cooling, design and construction, operations, resilience, sustainability, policy, and investment, as well as the technology decisions that materially affect infrastructure. If you can bring clarity to one of those areas, we would like to hear from you.
Contributions should be written in clear English and grounded in real knowledge of the subject. They do not need to be academic, but they should be precise. We are open to argument, provided it is supported. We are also open to case studies and specialist perspectives where they add something readers would not get from a press release or a generic market overview.
All submissions are reviewed and may be edited for length, clarity, and style. Publication is at the editor’s discretion.
To pitch a piece, send a short summary of your proposed topic and a few lines about your background to our editorial team.
